Fire Department

The City of Govstack Fire Department is a firefighting unit that provides community services, such as:

  • Fire suppression and emergency response
  • Fire safety inspections and public education

The City's fire department is located at City Hall at 455 Phillip Street, and the department is made up of multiple members, including:

  • Fire Chief
  • Deputy Chief

Fire Permits

You must have a fire permit if you wish to have a controlled first on your property between April 1 and October 31. Learn how to get a fire permit with the City.
