Significant Weather Event – facility and service updates 

Oshawa has declared a Significant Weather Event. Our crews continue to work around the clock to clear roads and sidewalks, prioritizing main routes first. 

On-street parking  

Keep vehicles off the road during snow‑clearing operations. Parked vehicles are subject to escalating fines / towing 

Recreation facilities, Oshawa Senior Community Centres (OSCC55+) and Oshawa Public Libraries 

All City recreation facilities, Oshawa Senior Community Centres (Depark Homes Branch and Northview Community Centre only) and Oshawa Public Libraries remain closed and will re-open no earlier than 12 p.m. noon on Monday, January 26. 

City Council meeting rescheduled 

The regular City Council meeting originally planned for Monday, January 26 will now take place on Tuesday, January 27 at 9:30 a.m.

City Hall 

Service Oshawa will be available by phone, email or live online chat during regular business hours. In-person counter services at City Hall (Service Oshawa, Building Services, Taxation Services, Licensing and Standards) will re-open no earlier than 12 noon on Monday, January 26.  

Power outages  

Report power outages to Oshawa Power at 905-723-4623 and monitor their outage map.
